A Farewell to Arms(1929)
The remarkable novel A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway was published in September of 1929. It had been serialized in Scribner's Magazine from May to October of that year before Charles Scribner's Sons finally officially published it for the first time in September. The first edition contained 31,050 copies.
